Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE) published a set of videos and guides for individuals at risk of detention and deportation to learn their rights, and prepare for the best possible outcome.
“All people in the United States, regardless of immigration status, have rights under the U.S. Constitution and other laws,” writes ABLE. “Please note that these materials are not legal advice, but are here to help you understand your rights in different situations.”
ABLE’s guides are available, in Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Haitian Creole, Kinyarwanda, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Swahili.
